Podspace is dedicated to fostering creativity, expression, and diverse conversations through podcasting. To ensure a safe environment for all listeners, we have established these community guidelines. By using Podspace, you agree to abide by these rules and contribute to a respectful community.

Podspace does not actively monitor or review user content before it’s published through the platform, however we will take action upon being notified of any content that may be deemed inappropriate or harmful. This includes, but is not limited to, the examples below.

1. Hate Speech and Discrimination: Content that incites hatred, discrimination, or harassment based on race, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic

2. Legal Compliance: Content that violates local, national, or international laws, including but not limited to defamation, copyright infringement, or the distribution of explicit material without appropriate disclaimers.

3. Explicit and Sensitive Content: Explicit material must be labeled appropriately. Content that is excessively violent, graphic, or sexually explicit, or that glorifies self-harm, is strictly prohibited.

4. Privacy and Consent: Sharing personal information or violating others right to privacy without appropriate consent.

5. Misinformation and Deception: Spreading misinformation, engaging in deceptive practices, or creating content designed to deceive or manipulate users.

6. Copyright Infringement: Unauthorized use of copyrighted material without proper attribution or permission, including but not limited to music, images, or text.

7. Harassment and Cyberbullying: Engaging in or promoting harassment, stalking, or cyberbullying.

8. Adult Content: Pornographic material or sexually explicit content that lacks artistic or educational value.

9. Violence and Harm: Content that promotes or glorifies violence, self-harm, or harm towards others. Content that risks harming Podspace business, brand or goodwill.

10. Gaming the System: Attempts to manipulate engagement metrics, such as listens, through fraudulent means or artificial methods are strictly prohibited. Content uploaded for a purpose other than being distributed to listeners, such as search engine optimization or similar practices is strictly prohibited.

Monetization & Advertiser-Friendly Content Guidelines

To be eligible for monetization, you must adhere to the community guidelines and create high-quality content that is suitable for advertisement. This applies to all aspects of your content and brand.

Before approving monetization, Podspace will review your podcast to determine its eligibility for advertisements and monetization.

Podspace reserves the right to suspend monetization privileges without warning for any podcast or publicist that does not adhere to the community guidelines or is deemed inappropriate for monetization.

Report violations:

Reports can be submitted via email to [[email protected]]. Podspace will review reported content and, at its sole discretion, take appropriate actions, which may include content removal, warnings, temporary suspension, or account termination, based on the severity and frequency of the violation.
